As part of India's 16th National Census, the Self-Enumeration facility has been launched for the public. This enables households to independently submit their census information online.

📲 How to Complete Self-Enumeration?

1️⃣ Scan the QR Code
Use your mobile camera or Google Lens to scan the official QR Code provided.

2️⃣ Visit the Website
Access the Self-Enumeration Portal at https://se.census.gov.in.

3️⃣ Register and Log In
Enter your mobile number and log in using the OTP received.

4️⃣ Fill in the Required Information
Provide accurate details regarding your household, family members, housing conditions, and other required information.

5️⃣ Save the SE ID
After successful submission, you will receive a Self-Enumeration ID (SE ID). Keep this ID safely, as it may be required when Census officials visit your household.

ℹ️ The Self-Enumeration facility is available from 16 June 2026 to 30 June 2026. This initiative forms part of India's first fully digital Census process.

As part of Census 2027, the campaign organized by Vaikom Municipality to promote Self-Enumeration among the general public was inaugurated by renowned playback singer Devanand by completing the Self-Enumeration process himself.
