NEW WARD STRUCTURE AS PER 2025 DELIMITATION
The Delimitation Commission, Kerala, issued the final order No. SDC/1086/2024/SDC3 dated 26 May 2025. Based on the Government notification issued under the Kerala Municipality Act, the number of elected seats in Vaikom Municipality was fixed at 27, and the Municipality was consequently divided into 27 wards. Draft proposals were published earlier, objections and suggestions were invited up to 4 December 2024, and the representations received were examined and disposed of before issuing the final order.
The accompanying ward-boundary map, dated 15 October 2025, confirms the final 27-ward configuration of Vaikom Municipality.
